I love this drawing!
I really loves Mario and Peach's expressions in this, and Mario's posing is great
I think it's safe to say that the fire is simply mind-blowing in this pic! once again, you've really put your gradient tool to work and it's AWESOME!
the other thing I really love is the cave-like walls in that background, on its weird, sharp angles - I think it represents the SMB3 toon's version of Darkland SUPER-well!! those platforms, too, they rock - some more really appropriate gradient use
